WJ's have frame mounts for tow hooks. You can make some brackets easily by drilling some 1/4 or even 1/8" metal flat stock.

Now you're speaking my language. Somebody should totally take this and go with it and see what happens, those would be the perfect spot for driving lights

I've seen the tow hook mounts somewhere on here before. The guy put little pieces of stock and welded them to the hooks, looked great. I'll see if I can find it

I couldnt find the page I saw before on them, mind posting up a link? I personally think just getting a piece of stock and sandwiching it between the hooks and the mounts will work just fine, welding seems kinda overkill but if you've got the tools why not?

x2 way easier and more practical to sandwich some stock plate.

i cant find the exact post but the jeep is dfloyd s jeep(if you can see how his lightbar is mounted). he put a piece of flat metal in between the uniframe and the tow hook mounts. exactly as you described.

YES YES YES you found it. quoted for ref purposes. I forgot he made a bar out of it but hey, if you just used two pieces of stock it would still be decently sized. Or if you knew how to bend pipe and weld hahah. Somebody should REALLY manufacture these I would totally pay $75 or so I bet it costs $20 in materials

im just going to go with the metal stock sticking out and put lights on it and see how it looks. thanks for the help guys. also you wouldnt really even have to bend the pipe you could just make it straight across and weld it on.

you could do that... although it looks like it would interfere with the front license plate frame (for those of us that need it) Maybe get a bracket to hold license plate onto the bar. Im really interested in this maybe we could post it over in the fab forums and see what people think?
