noise from transfer case after double cardan conversion

I just switched out my original rezepa rezepa front drive shaft for a conventional double cardan off of a 2003 WJ 4.0 in lue of a 4" long arm I am putting in.
the first shaft I ordered from LKQ locally turned out to be improperly labeled in there system and was same as my original, so I had to get another from local wrecking yard. in antisipation of getting it I had already swapped out the yokes so while waiting on it I was driving it around, after being told from a mechanic I use/consult with that it is ok to drive, and hearing a sound on acceleration and deceleration. the noise sounds like moving you finger up and down on you lips fast. when holding the transfer case yoke it stops when on a lift. after a couple days got the correct front drive shaft and after putting it in the noise is still there. the mechanic that helps me when needing a lift or to torque things down was not sure what it would be, as thought it would stop after the drive shaft was put in. so asking if anyone is aware of this situation when swapping drive shafts or had this happen and any fixes/suggestions?
