Thanks. I've been looking for one, but I didn't want to drop $700 for the Rigid Industries.

Mine is your basic Fleabay model with Cree leds. Pretty darn bright, all floods.
More light than the pair of 55W KC's I had on there.

Just another old fart in a Jeep... watchout younguns!!!

I like it, however, I have to agree about the "hard lines." WJ's are a sleek looking rig and throwing angular lines, in my opinion, takes away from that.

The bumper nearly has to have hard lines just because I don't have access to equipment or money to bend .25" steel to suite to body lines. I have designed this with cost being a major factor. Plus, the joints where the plates meet form a very rigid structure, more so than perhaps a smoothed out bumper style

Is there a side profile of that bumper available on the Jeep? That looks very good!

Yeah, I am sure 1/4 inch steel would be a pain to curve. I still think it looks better than even the stock bumper. How much weight would be added to the rig with this bumper?

No, there isn't. Sorry. If I decide to make another render I will make a side view.

1/4 in is overkill for the "wings"
It is needed in the winch box for support, but 3/16 is more than enough for the rest. Not to mention cutting down on weight a tad.

Something along these lines is what I am planning "one of these days"

Trust me, i thought of that! The whole bumper will not be 1/4", only parts that will come in contact with objects and the winch box. Everything else varies, such as the top most parts being 1/8" and some others 3/16". I'm trying to find the right combination for the most strength and least weight/bulk while remaining as functional and as stylish as possible.

As far as you guys wanting plans, sorry but not anytime soon. Hopefully by sometime this winter, and surely before next summer, i just cannot come up with a good estimate right now.

Your goal rig looks a LOT like the Bushwacker demo WJ. Great looking rig.
