Here's a crude representation of what it will look like on my WJ as it currently sits. And a second edited picture to help blend it in better.

Got the first prototype thrown together. I used duct tape, but will probably end up using some liquid nails or something on all the joints because it sags a little and is a bit flimsy. But this is just for another visual, it was is late and didnt want to take the tow hooks off. Really just to get a ball park on my measurements to see how close I was. Turns out I'm pretty close!

In the pictures the bumper is resting on my homemade tow hook brackets, so its not completely flush to the front were it will actually sit.

I would assume its street legal? Its not any different function-wise than any other offroad bumper.

And yeah I could paint it butttt it might get a little soggy if it rains LOL

Alright I have a request to anyone that has Iceland or Bushwacker style flares: I need a measurement for how much wider I need to make the bumper so that it will match up with the flares. I plan on running the notch customs flares (iceland) and want it to match up as perfectly as possible. If you could, ideally I would want a picture with you holding a ruler up to the flare where it meets the bumper looking at the jeep head on. Thanks so much in advance, I'm getting closer to a completed bumper!

Forgive me, but I've always thought that aftermarket bumpers give the WJ a "fat lip" look.

Anyway to squeeze the winch up in there further?

Only way to get it farther back is to cut the factory frame and do some massaging...

Texlurch,

What kind of headlights are those?

Also, how'd you mount that winch behind the fawkesfab kit?

Thanks!
Bill

Don't remember the brand but they came off Ebay..

So far as the winch, search out "hidden winch" and there are a bunch of pics, details, and measurements.
