Wj Need help with a loose hose I found

I just recently found a hose hanging near my brake fluid storage. I can not find where it goes for I am not able to get underneath. Im not sure what it goes to. I do not have a problem with my cruise control but my air conditioner/ Heat has been on the fritz it will blow out of the top vents/defrosters but not the vents facing the driver and passenger. I am unsure of if they are related or not. Any and all help I would appreciate. It is a 1/4in hose Thanks in advance.

Probably either a vacuum hose or the front diff breather. Hard to tell without a picture though...

There are a lot of hoses right there. Many of them are vacuum and would definitely explain your HVAC issues. There is also the breather for the front diff. One end is on the diff, the other end just sits on the top of the shock stud. It might look like a loose hose to the untrained eye. Post a pic of said hose and we can definitely let you know what it is.
