so no one?

SirSilvia 08-17-2014 12:23 PM

ebay may be the best but what's the model on the sticker? because there's like a few dozen different types

krotos 08-17-2014 04:01 PM

my question was would it fit and if i made the wiring kit myself, the p/n is P56038646AL.

They do have double din mounts and bezel http://www.ebay.com/itm/Double-Din-R...006969&vxp=mtr and comparing the connectors of the stock unit RBP and the one you have.
they match up, so looks like that kit ^ will do it for you

If you have a CD changer, looks like it would work for you too and the antenna port is the same. all plug-n-play

pdpunome 08-19-2014 04:22 AM

rec is that not out of a 05 and newer chryslers? Those would be canbus and not work in pre 04's. What is the part number on the radio?

krotos 08-19-2014 06:18 AM

ok i am guessing SirSilvia is kinda blind and pdpunome is the same, in my third post i listed the P/N and told. i am not looking for a double din mounting kit, SirSilvia read closer to the screen fellow i am asking if i made the wiring harness if it would work not if it will fit. here is the p/n again for those who can't read good P56038646AL.

SirSilvia 08-19-2014 09:59 AM

I did read, but google lied to me when I put in the number.
Still looking at the standard head unit that came with the WJ's and the one you have P56038646AL it still has the standard antenna jack, the C1 (22 pin connection) and the CD Changer C2 (10 pin connection) in addition to the SAT antenna port as well.

The original head unit google pulled up looked like a double din, sorry about that. The one you have looks a lot bigger. I've never seen it done but doesn't mean it's not going to fit. there's nothing that I know of above the head unit other than the top of the dash.

krotos 08-19-2014 10:26 AM

ok i am sorry for the lashing, i do know i would have to modify the dash for it to fit. my main question was if i wired up a harness will the factory infinity amp going to allow it to work or do i need to buy a kit to get it to work.

SirSilvia 08-19-2014 10:41 AM

It looks like pdpunome would know the specifics of it might not work. Other than the physical connections and fitment.

pdpunome 08-19-2014 10:58 AM

I can read thanks maybe next time you would like help dont be rude.

This will not work it is canbus for 05 and up chryslers.

Goodluck

no rude, thanks and if you want help dont be like this and yes you did write the part number but nothing to lead anyone to know what you were referencing in that exact post.

again good luck.

AFAIK, it won't work with the steering wheel controls, because of CANBUS. Not sure if it will work with the Infinity amp, or not.
Connectors DO look the same. All I can say is try it. What have you to lose, but time?
