My WJ rear seat mod

Posted this originally in ZJ forum by mistake.

Saw someone posted this mod on another forum and since Dont have the kids to haul around anymore and nobody wants to ride in the middle I took the seats apart and cut'em and sewed them back.

DAMN! That looks good...

Is the console removeable? Do the back seat still fold over for the extra cargo space?

Nice.

Nice.

The console is not bolted in right now, but was planning on bolting it in. The seats work just like before (see last pic).

That's sweet! What's up with that HUGE speaker cabinet though ha-ha!

LOL! At first I was all like " you didn't even do anything" until I realized those were the back seats!! Nice!

I need to see how the bottoms are done/secured

No write up yet. Hardest part was cutting the steel frame in the back and re-welding it. The bottom was plastic.

What were you wanting to see?

The bracket that holds the two back halves in the middle bottom is still there. I just added a second one for the other side. I'll get pics if you need them.
