looks like he sprayed it entirely, traced the letters with a toothpic and peeled after it dried.

Tapped over it, traced it with a razor blade, peeled off extra tape, painted. Traced with razor blade again, then peeled off tape.

I see one glaring error I don't think anyone has mentioned yet.....you left the wheel weights on to spray.

I left my weights and painted over them. No problems yet. But when the tire needs remounting I will deal with it then.

Ya, I realized that to once I got them on. Haha.

I plan on either touching it up, or repainting all the wheels gloss black.

sorry i had to reset my password and this whole ordeal to get back on here sorry im taking so long to respond

itsparadoxical i used a rough grit to take off the clear coating where it was oxidized but just roughed up the whole rims clear coating with a medium grit and made sure there werent any deep scratches on them then used like a paint thinner to clean them off real well

2000WJ4x4 i like what you did but all my chrome was starting to fade on my emblems so i figured i would black out the whole thing but i like that added touch...do you think that having a lip like that will give it a place to start to peel? i plastidiped the inside of the rim as well to get a full type of seal on the rim plus it gives it much better depth when you really look at it in person.

modded2death- im sorry i dont understand the question or was that intended for 2000WJ4x4

Just to add for plastidip durability, my emblems and wheels stood up to the pressure washer today. I didn't hit em real hard. I'm sure a direct spray from the highest nozzle would peel it but I was surprised I'm not repainting. Thumbs up plastidip dip.

Rogue chrome. I did a half *** job, but that's only cause I'm waiting on my lift and tires to arrive, and I won't be using these. I just can't stand chrome.
