Thanks man, I appreciate that. I am in the Montrose area north of Glendale. If you dont mind letting me know where that hill is at you just might see a blue Jeep crawling up it soon!

Got the same rig short the upcountry. Same boat your in. First thing I had to do was the blend doors. Just ordered Wrangler Silent Armor in a 245/65r17 and will be doing the BB in a couple months unless the tires force me to do it quicker.

Hey Compcrasher! Lol yup. As soon as i got stuck, a bunch of steam started billowing out of my hood but i assumed this was ok... just steam from hot engine touching the cool mud. The only thing i thought could happen was a cold shock on a hot part that could crack. Do you think the steam was an indication of something breaking?

No, now that I think of it it was probably just mud hitting the lower exhaust but it looked weird coming out of just the front. clean out and degrease your engine bay and just keep an eye out for leaks

were you close to another jeep near a mud pit or just got all the mud on the passenger side for fun?

Nope, all the mud was from my car. I don't know why one side got it worse then the other.

This isn't the first time I read that you dislike your interior color lol. I actually think the sandstone looks good, especially on white but that's just my opinion. The mud issue i can not speak for. In my car it came off pretty easily once it dried. I would guess the sandstone wouldn't be much different but what do i know?
