Missing radiator fan? 00 4.0 2wd. There is only electrical fan. Should mechanical fan be there? Does your Jeep have mechanical and electrical fans?
Thanks.

Perfectly normal for it to not be there, I believe the mechanical fan was part of the tow prep group, so if have the tow package it likely left the factory with no towing package or prep group and had the tow package installed as an option by the dealer that received it and the actual mopar tow package they put on them included everything but the mechaincal fan as the fan was only part of the tow prep group.

In other words it's peferctly normal to not have a mechaincal fan if you don't have the tow prep group as a factory option.

You can add one super easy just screws on the front of the water pump with a 36mm nut reverse thread.
I like having them both as a backup since the E-fan can be unreliable.
