I'm sure if you had enough money, the ones that come factory like that have that feature tied into the ecu, It works through the key or the remote, which would mean changing out your entire ecm, security system, and possibly your ignition if its tied into the security chip key. The ecu might not be compatable with your engine, so you 'd prob have to set up a stand alone system, finding a donor would be near impossible. I dont know if they ever installed that in grand cherokee's, i'm going off of what i know they did in cadilacs and buicks, but if you really want it and they put it in newer ones i think you'd be further ahead to trade in yours for one of those.

Sorry, just looked at the pic closer, if it is a totaly isolated system with a button on the door than its totaly possible you'd just have to find the parts and pieces and switch them out. On the high end gm's when you press the button on your remote or put your key in the ignition thats what makes everything move.

The memory seats are controlled by the bcm (body control module) which is basically thr brain for everything electronic outside of the engine (power control module) Theoretically, you could swap your bcm for one that had that feature, but you would be throwing a lot of money on something that is rather silly imo. Between the seats themselves, the bcm, the buttons on the door panel, the wiring for all of that, and having your keys reprogrammed with your new bcm and your key fobs programmed to control the seat memory, thats a whole lot of time and money when it takes 2 minutes to put the seat back where you like it....or just dont let others to drive your jeep and its not a problem

fist thing to do is to remove the door card and see if the wiring is there. If it is wired the BCM will control it, they did not have different BCMs for differnet trim levels.

mine works..i swapped the leather seats into my 00' laredo got the limited panels and the wiring harness from the donor limited and it works.. the harness is removable from the little rubber boot in between the door and body relatively easy. just depends if you think its worth the money, but on the other hand i did it almost for free so i went for it. you will also notice that once you install the seat with memory a new option will be in the overhead console that says.."memory linked to remotes?"
