Loss of power under acceleration. :(

When I give it gas sometimes the jeep will not go. It will just fall on it's face and idle. It's okay for a few seconds and then it's fine. I can floor it and have no problems either. It's like there are air bubbles in the in the fuel lines. I replaced the fuel filter about 2 months ago with a molar filter. That helped but still cuts in and out sometimes. Any guesses?

Here is a video of the sound of my fuel pump.... Its odd.

Didn't you have fuel filter issues a little while back? Could that be related?

Do you ever have hesitation problems like this during a certain RPM range? I had something very similar starting about 3200 rpms... it felt like the fuel just cut out all of a sudden.

Well if you figure it out, tell me!! hahaha... I have had the saaaaame problem, but only when I've added fuel injector cleaner. WTF?? And bcz it's so inconsistent, I haven't been able to properly diagnose it. I don't throw ECU codes & I've checked my evap system as well as fuel filter... and found nothing!! Maybe it's ignition retard from knocking?? I dunno, man

Yeah, that doesn't sound right... should be a solid hum sound. I would check the fuel pump & all seals that go with it... this may sound crazy, but have you ever had a problem starting up? Like it will turn & turn & then finally it starts?

I've only had the hesitation problem when I've used fuel injector cleaner either that or it was just HIGHLY coincidental!
