limited v8's

is it safe to buy a WJ with the v8 and 100,000 miles and still be reliable, ? and last long? and what is the mpg you guys get with them

Depends on how it was maintained like anything else...

The 4.7 is reliable, agitatedpancake has over 200k on his and still going strong.

Stock I got around 17-18mpg mixed city/highway, mostly highway. (***** footing around though)

If its a limited then you should check to see if it has faulty blend door...

If your looking to buy a Jeep, then you have already made a consious (sp) decesion to throw fuel economy out the window. Aerodynamics are overrated.
