Bracketron inc. bought it from bestbuy. Around $15. I like it cause it hooks up to air vent and it's easy to move, take off. It's just spring loaded.

Lol. Sorry just being a pain in the *** cuz I enjoy it. I like that one he just posted^. My phone/iPod is always in the center console where I ran my mopar integration kit. Use steering wheel controls so don't often handle it while driving. Also if I forget it it's hidden and not begging for a smash and grab.

That looks really good. Here's what I've got currently - sure would be nice to clean it up a little more, the suction cups tend to come off the glass at the least convenient moments.

Regarding the Buddha - he's velcro'd to the dash.

Unfortunately I don't know fasteddy47 and this is the first I've seen of his interior, definitely interesting. Is there a build thread?

i just bought a radio with a usb and controller. now i just keep the ipod in one place, and keep my eyes on the road when changing songs and such. much safer, and clean. as for the iphone or any phone, dont mount it. put it in the glove box and stay off it when in a moving vehicle.

Yes he does. He called his Jeep the "Money Pit"

It's an "adventure rig," not a designated trail rig. It's one of my favorite WJ's on the site. It's real neat.

If you can afford it, get one that has Bluetooth integrated. x1000000.

You can keep your phone in your pocket, control all of your music through the head unit, and route your phone calls through the speakers. The music quality actually has a higher bit rate than analog. It's true MP3 quality without any wires anywhere. The only downside is that it doesn't charge your phone for you, and it does but a drain on the phone's battery.

i dont remember what model but its kenwood. i dont like using the head unit to control things, its a distraction, and unsafe. the controller, is great. since ive had it ive been able to change songs, playlists, volume, mute, power, EQ settings, all while not having to lean forward, and most without taking my eyes off the road.

nice head unit too, full color customization and other doodads, for like 90 bucks.
the wire i use doesnt allow this but since you never even have to touch the ipod, you can just plug it in and stash it in the glove box. my wires the stretchy coiled crap though cause i thought it was a good idea at first

I was thinking the same thing. I picked up the Sony MEX-BT3100P from Crutchfield.

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_158BT31...P.html?tp=5684

Front USB, Bluetooth, works with both Iphone and Android. Even an app that lets you control the stereo from the phone. $130 price drop.

After seeing that, I needed a mount. I chose this one.

iOttie Easy One Touch Windshield Dashboard Car Mount Holder Cradle.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Reviews were great. Some said it stuck TOO well and left indentations in the dash. I do not care about that, and will trade that for mounting security. $20, not bad.

I do not really know where I will mount it when I get it, but I will post it here.
