Knocking from front axle 2000 WJ limited V8

So i can hear a slight knock from my front drivers side wheel. I think it started when I was 4 wheeling and it would knock when just going straight. Now I only hear it when I turn to the left. It's a periodic noise and rather quiet. It's more like a click and not like a heavy faulty shock knock. I did my research and im fairly certain it is the cv joint but I'm not really sure and wanted some other opinions. Could it be something else? Thanks for your input =)

Sounds like a cv joint. When mine was going out it would make a clinking sound when turning then after awhile it would make it all the time. Check the boots. If they're ripped, its probably the cause.

My quick discos also make a clicking sounds every once and awhile too.

CV joint. Replacing both CV axle shaft assemblies is about $125 plus labor unless you want to tackle it yourself.

Do I have to replace both? I'm pretty sure it's just the left one. I'm doing it myself while I replace the axel seals (they're leaking). I did check the boots. They're not ripped which is why I was unsure if it was the cv axles.

Pull the tire & make sure the brake pads have not seperated form their backings.

Pull the entire caliper to be certain.

It wasn't either CV axle. I'm pretty sure it was a failed CV in the front driveshaft.
