I share your first concern when buying tires, and I've never bought a brand I've never heard of, and there's a ton of bargain basement $h!t tires coming out of China.

BUT when it comes to Kenda, I've been running their tires for YEARS yes YEARS, their Nevegal and Small Block 8 are some of the highest regarded Mountain Bike tires of all time. They also make some great motocross tires as well and are one of the only companies to make a knobby for sand the "Southwick".

I bet you see "Maxxis" tire banners at off road events all the time, but in reality that tire company is Cheng Shin another Taiwanese tire company with factories in China. I hold Cheng Shins in much lower regard than I do Kendas, as that's usually the bottom of the barrel brand tire on wal mart bikes and I don't know anyone that would run one of their tires on a motorcycle.

If Kendas ever catch on in the truck segment, the prices will go up just like the rest of 'em to pay for all those banners, sponsorships etc. etc. A lot of the cost in BFGs is to pay for all that advertising; I mean the RD for ATs has had to have paid for itself 20 years ago.

at around 12,000 miles now and they are still going great, no reason someone couldnt get 50,000 or more with the 5 tire rotation like im doing, on road the tread pattern seems more like an all terrain tire, being that the ride isnt too much more rough and not too loud either, now offroad they perform great, most of the time i wouldnt even need to air down, but i usually do air down to the 16-20 area with no problems, this wj has been over way more than it should have and i would attribute quite a bit to the tires, also if u guys are just looking for an aggressive tire for looks this is def the one, even at 3 or 4" with these tires my wj looked mean, now at 6" long armed and trimmed for my trail 35's the 32" Klevers look small, but still look pretty aggressive, wish they made 35's or 37's!!

black out of course! not a fan of the white letters for some reason

sorry i can only find one pic of the side before trimming without mud on the tires or flexing, in the pic it was at 3" (2" BB and upcountry springs) and no trimming, only rubbed the front splash shield ever so slightly at full lock, drilled a hole and one zip tie solved that though

Sorry. Been away a while. Kenda update. Took it out to the proving ground near hobe sound fl. Didnt get stuck at all. Had tires completly under water and the just grab grab grab. Went to st lucie mud jam and same thing every mud hole I hit. It just rolled right thru. As far as road wear I have no complaints. For the price you cant beat these klevars.

I'm running the kenda mt's and love them. Picked them up for $120. A piece mounted and balanced. I have nearly 5000 miles and they ride great for a mud tire.
