Just an Oil question!

I have the 4.7, this is my first jeep and the biggest engine I have driven. I live in Colorado so it gets pretty cold around here and I don't want to run too thick of an oil. What weight do you guys suggest for cold temps? I usually use Castrol in all of my cars so I will most likely be running that.

The manual says 5W-30, but you might want to go to 0w-whatever in CO.

I live in Norway, can be pretty cold over here to, use syntetic 5w-30. I have been using Valvoline, also stay away from Fram Oil filters, Go by WIX or something.
