JKS Quicker Disconnects - Measurements

Does anyone with 4"+ lift have JKS quick disconnects and can give me some measurements? I bought a set from a local guy who said they were good up to 6" of lift, but they look kinda small to me even fully extended.

Thanks for the help.

I have a 4" lift with the JKS front discos. When I get home from work I can measure the lenght. I'm not sure if I have them at the correct length. I bought the lift kit used and I just left them at the lenght the previous owner had them add. They don't seem to have any issues. If you don't here from me then shoot me a PM. It may slip my mind when I get off work.

You want the swaybar to be on a 30 degree angle if memory serves me. I could be wrong but I think it was 30 degrees.

Sweet man. I appreciate it.

In the meantime, anyone else feel free to chime in.

Yeah, that's what I had in my head as well.

Per JKS install instructions, 11 5/8" long for 4" lift. Install instructions are linked on their website.

Mine are at 10" even eye to eye. I also talked with JKS and they told me the quick discos for the WJ with 2-6" of lift has a maximaze expansion of 11 5/8" that does not mean that is the lenght that they need to be for a 4" lift that is simply their suggested max length. That is what they suggest you set it at for 6". The guy I talked to did not know the exact lenght to set them at for 4". He told me he would find out and call me back. I havn't heard back but it was rather late in the day when I called. My guess is that my 10" mark is close but my angle isn't quite at 30 degrees which is were it should be. My angle finder has me at about 25. I think it I go to about 10 1/2"-10 3/4" I should be REAL close to 30 degrees. Maybe some guys with 4" lift and the JKS quick discos could chime in with their lenghts. Here's the JKS instructions with some of my pitiful photo editing skills added.

Wow, thanks bhicks. I found the part # for the discos I have and they're for a 3" lift! So I'm debating selling them (they're brand new) and getting the longer ones, I'm not sure.

Actually we could do the math with the info given. If the 0-2" part has a max of 9 3/8" which would be for 2" and the 2"-6" part has a max length of 11 5/8" which is for 6" of lift then we just need to fine the average number to get to 4". So 9 3/8 + 11 5/8" divided by 2 is exactly 10.5" so I need to extend my discos by 1/2" See if you can get your discos to extend to 10.5" safely (good amount of thread left). If so, then your good to go.

I found the part #. They are 3100's. Fully extended they are just over 10" but that leaves hardly any thread inside the other half.

Sounds like those are for the 0"-2" of lift. If you have little thread left at 10" then that isn't safe AND it's 1/2" short. You need to get the longer JKS discos. Sorry for the bad news but at least you have some info now.
