issues replacing battery

I'm planning to replace the factory battery in my 99 jgc laredo, which is listed as a 625-ampere battery. I can't find the 625-ampere rating in any aftermarket batteries that I've looked at. Is the 625 amperage necessary, or will I be find with a good battery from an auto parts store? Also, has anyone run into any computer/electronic issues after having disconnected the battery?
Thanks.

As long as you buy a battery that is listed in the part store as a replacement, you'll be okay. The ECU may take a couple of starts to relearn itself.

A battery is a battery. Any automotive battery should work just fine. I personally use an Optima.
