IRO Springs vs Tera Flex Springs

What is the ride quality difference these two springs? I guess we can throw Zone's springs into this discussion to. Does one ride stiffer then the other? Is a stiffer spring better or worse for mild offroading (no serious rock crawling)? Or is a softer spring better. Why did you go with one over the other?

ArloGuthroJeep - I see in your Arlo's Lift Kit: you choose the Tera Flex springs. Could you explain why you picked those. Also that post is pretty old (2007), do you still fell that the Tera Flex are the best?

And just to verify my ignorance, High Spring Rate equals a stiffer spring correct?

The teraflex springs are soft, ride well but are long. They actually will give you 5" of lift in the front.

Teraflex springs have a higher spring rate than IRO by a considerable margain. I posted the actual spring rates of various 4" springs manufacturers awhile back. Should be able to search for that thread if you're interested.

IRO's were way too soft for my liking so I switched to Tera, which handled my ARB/winch much better. You should consider the amount of sprung weight when sourcing coil springs.

Interesting, compared to the KOR springs I used to run the Teraflex are soft as could be.
