interior lights and windows problem

My daughter just called and says her interior lights won't turn off and her power windows won't work. I suspect the wiring between the door and jamb. I will have the car in a few minutes but would like suggestions on what to look for first. Thanks!!!! It is a 2004 Grand Cherokee.

interior lights and windows not working correctly

Chris, You were correct as well!!! I fond the black wire and the orange with white stripe wires broken completely in two. Replaced sections from the connector at the door all the way into the kick panel area. All is good!!! Thanks for your reply and help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
