instrument cluster removal?

The bulb by my temp & oil gauge is burnt out. How do I get the instrument cluster out? I tried using the search feature, but couldn't find anything. 2001 Grand Cherokee limited.

Thanks!

One of the easiest of any vehicle I have ever owned.

Look under the lip of the top of the cluster there are 2 screws.

Now grab the trim around the bottom part right above the steering column. and gently pull, it only snaps in place. There are then 2 screws behind it.

Gently pull the cluster out and unplug the one and only plug.

I think that's how it works. I have always had the white-faced, electroluminescent gauge clusters, so I have never messed with the other gauges. Check out this thread if you want to switch to LED: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f310/.../#post19503049

Hmmm just got back from the auto parts store & they did have any 103 bulbs....not even an empty spot on the shelf where they would go....

EDIT: a little further research tell me the 103 bulb is a special bulb for Chrystler and any 74 will work

Get some LED replacements, will be a few bucks more but worth it in the long run. It's my next project.
