Hydraulic Fan Solenoid Circuit

Went for a ride today and when I got back I noticed steering fluid on the ground, it's leaking from the Hydraulic Fan Solenoid. I tightened it a little but you can still turn it.
Dealer don't just sell this part anymore they want to sell the whole unit!
It has two O-rings as seen in the photo below, anyone ever messed with this?

Never messed with just the solenoid but I know in another thread that they have a TSB that says you don't need to buy the whole unit anymore. Look on wjjeeps under tsb's and you should find it.

If you go to a dealer and they give you a problem show them the tsb. If they don't have any other paperwork that shows this TSB has be revised they have to get you that part.

If they still give you an issue call DC corporate and talk with them.

I have guys buying that part all the time and they give you a little bit of an issue but they finally have to give you the part because there is no other paperwork saying that TSB is no longer in affect.

As for the solenoid leaking, did you tighten the T-40 screw enough? Are the o-rings in good shape? If they have a little cut or damaged it will leak....

Do you have a link? I know they use to sell them, they want you to buy a new $1100 unit and a different wiring connector for $68 bucks, dealer said it's different or superseded the older Hydraulic Fan?

I ended up replacing the 0-ring it was bad, but the good thing is my dad has one of those 0-ring kits anyhow it stopped the leak just hope it did the job.
