howell noise in four wheel drive

I started noticing a howelling noise in full time four wheel drive today but only on deceleration, its a 04 grand cherokee 4.0 selectract, any ideas would be appreciated, thank you

Not sure, it has 90,000 miles on it, and just put a new transmission in it, ill check the u joints , sounds like its coming from the xfer case

with transfer case noise only in 4 wheel its usually a worn chain, but not always, def start with checking the driveshaft u-joints, also check the fluid level, if both check out u might have to throw a chain in it, they sell rebuild kits and they arn't too bad to do if u take your time, much much easier than say a trans
