Wj How to replace battery terminals?

Good morning and happy thanksgiving everyone. I have been needing to replace my battery terminals for a while. Does any one have any recommendations on what terminals to buy and what other supplies are needed? Has anyone done replaced their battery terminals before? Pictures would be awesome if you have done it before.

Good morning and happy thanksgiving as well! I recently bought a 2001 WJ my terminals are factory and kinda rough looking next time Ihave mine out i am going to use the brass terminals. I work for advance auto parts i have seen/used them a bunch, I have an old mustang 5.0 convertible it had bad terminals, used the brass ones been great since!

All you need is new terminals and a pair or good side cuts, cable/bolt cutters, a knife etc alll you have to do is cut the old ones off and strip back the wires and tighten the new ones one, make sure there is plenty of slack dont cut back too much!

I have some pictures in my build thread here.
I soldered marine grade lugs to the factory wires and bolted them to heavy duty terminals.

You can buy the terminals and lugs at Napa. The covers will take some searching. Shoot me a PM and I will try to send you the details for where I ordered the covers.

They Are Rockford Fosgate Brand (to fit my amp, what a brand ho, ha ha) the 2 holes in the middle goes for the factory wireing, the 2 others goes for 0-2 or 4 gauge wires for ex amps etc.
My plan is to also heatshrink around cables as tight against the terminal as i can.

They Are sweet.
