how much to sell wj for?

It's a 2000 Laredo,116k miles,.I-6 a few scratches, selec trac, weird noise in engine that's been there when we bought it, no problems so far. I've seen a lot of 02-03s go for around 5k with 140k and up miles.. how much do you think I should sell for?

$100 I'll buy it. Nobody can tell you how much to sell for because we can't see it or tell how good she runs. Leaks ect ect ect......... .. Base it off of what they sell for around your area and expect to drop your price. It's over ten years old.

Like he said^. I had a 2000 Laredo with most all the Limited options, leather, power seats, sun roof, tow, auto dim mirrors, ect and the 4.7 and I have an 2001 Laredo with no options and a 4.0. The price would be different even though they are both Laredo's.

Probably $3k, engine noises won't inspire confidence in potential buyers. Especially when you tell them you haven't been bothered to try and fix it, they'd have to ask themselves what else you let slip.

We've took it to the local Jeep dealer and they found no codes, and couldn't figure out what the problem was

We cannot support the sale of a WJ in a pro-WJ forum. Sorry friend.

Markets vary.

Even with a clean running engine you would struggle to sell it for 3k where I live.. probably more like 2,500.

With the engine noise.. who knows but lower. I love WJ's but the depreciation is depressing. I bought a 99 V8,tow package, every option besides quadradrive with similar miles as yours in 2012 for $2700 FWIW.

Kellys blue book would put it around 3500, but beware I put my 2000 with 250,00 out for sale for 2000.00 and she got so mad now it wont start and stay running. Darn thing knows. I did nothing but remove the plates and moved it from the driveway to the front yard.
