How Much Is The Repair Cost For Blend Doors? (Parts Only?)

How Much Is The Repair Cost For Blend Doors? (Parts Only?)

Let's say you have error codes 52/54/56, how much does that cost in parts only to repair?

It looks like WJJEEPS shows the following prices:

Auto A/C Mid-case blend assembly P/N 05134353AA (MSRP: $104.00)

Auto A/C Air recirculation assembly P/N 05134347AA (MSRP: $ 40.00)

That's a total of 144.00. I know the AC system also has to be recharged, anyone know average prices on that?

I've heard this job costs around 300.00 for parts.

around $50 to fill the AC, but do it yourself! just get a good quality AC pressure gauge and some freon. you might spend $50, but you come out with a gauge you can use again.

So 150.00 more or less depending on your dealerships prices?

FYI..

My cousin (works for dealer) told me that the stealership has a do it yourself repair kit for the blend doors. It involves cutting a hole in the duct work behind the glove box. He did say that the install instructions from the stealer are terrible and there are better instructions on line. I will be getting my set of doors this coming week so I'll put in a post after I do the install in my 99' limited.

I did find these instructions with new doors at this site grand cherokee heater blend door repair and they look pretty detailed.

Those prices for the factory parts over on WJ Jeeps are outdated but I do offer a 25% discount off current list prices to JeepForum members for genuine Mopar factory parts. PM me if you'd like pricing.
