Oh man..that 4.0's just getting broken in..

Replace your electric fan relay switch as preventative maintenance and put a clutch fan on (if it doesn't already have one)...and you could possibly get 250-300K out of it.

2002 Grand Cherokee Special Edition
4.7L v8
190,000 miles

Replaced
radiator, hoses and t-stat (developed a bad leak)
alternator
front calipers and shoes (sticking pistons)

I run full synthetic fluids in entire vehicle and Seafoam in the tank once a month and she runs great with no issues and I pull a 21' camper with it.

is this unusual?

My 1999 WJ 4.7L V8 Limited 4X4 has 262300 on the clock...
I just bought it a month ago, I replaced the waterpump (was original) spark plugs (removed OE spec Champions installed NGKs), replaced a rear axle bearing/seal (outboard),new shocks(Sensen), new front brakes, new tires, purged and recharged A/C, and installed a new IAC valve. It runs great and shifts smooth. As far as I know it is the original drivetrain.
The dual CV style front driveshaft shelled out several thousand miles ago and was removed. I'll be replacing it with a dual U-joint style soon
I am a 1-2 on the maintenance scale

unknown conventional oil
Goodyear tires
