Wj Hit a deer...need HOOD advice for a WJ

Thanks in advance everyone...

Anyone know if the WJ hoods are interchangeable from 2000 to 2004?
Or 1999 through 2004?

I hit a deer, big buck...in DOWNTOWN WASHINGTON DC!
He mashed up my hood real good. My insurance deductible is more than the price of a used hood. So, I'm thinking I'll just get a good used hood.

It's hard to find a similar paint color in a 2004.

Does anybody know if other years are interchangeable?

Thanks,
Jereme

wjjeeps.com mentions they changed the hood props in 2004. It sounds like its just the prop itself and not the hood attachment point. I would imagine all hoods from 1999 - 2004 will work.

bonus if you get a hood from a 1999 - 2001 you can also get a under hood lamp (this was discontinued in 2002

Garage
Why not just bolt the deer on the hood and call it a day?

If you enter your 04 into Rockauto it shows the Mopar 55076470AE hood fitting the 1999-2004. Of course it's out of stock not that anybody would pay the super high price which isn't shown.

Strange about hitting a big buck in downtown DC and sorry for the damage. But deer are common there and maybe he was chased out in a road by a coyote since there's a bunch in DC, including the furry ones.

Would sorta match most colors
