High Mileage Oil

2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 2wd

I have a little over 107,XXX miles and I would like to know if changing to High Mileage Oil is a good idea?

If so what brand is good?

I've always had great luck using Valvoline oils.

A lot of guys on here will try to sell you on AMSOIL.

I am a big fan of the Mobil1 High Mileage line of oils, particularly the 10W-30. It has a very good additive package, high zinc, good hot viscosity and good cold flow properties. It yields good Used Oil Analyses on both my 4.0 and 4.7HO. It's also pretty cheap in 5-qt jugs at Walmart.

"what he said". except i like 5w-30 in the 4.7 as per service manual.
