Help idenify this 242

A guy on craigslist is selling a 242. Everything I see points towards a 242HD. But he's saying it came out of an XJ (could have been swapped in I guess?)

Tag number on it says 242J
53007856 assy number
71791.1 yr
2.72 ratio

Claims it has 23 spline input shaft.

I did the 242 hd swap and that one Doesn't look the same as mine. The tail cone is shorter on that one then mine. Wj cases don't have the speed sensor on the back of them either.
