Help on exhaust choice?!!

Hey guys I have a 2000 4.0 grand cherokee and I previously had a flowmaster 40 series exhaust with no cat on it! It got a huge dent on it from going on the trail so I cut it off temporally till tomorrow when I bring it to the exhaust shop. I thought the 40 series was just a tad bit to raspy and loud! So I'm looking to get something that's a tad but quieter and a little deeper? What muffler do you guys think I was looking at a magnaflow but don't really know how they sound and I can't order a exhaust like a borla so I was just thinking a magnaflow or a different flowmaster. Any input guys thanks alot?!

I have the 50 series FM that came with the Kolak exhaust. IMO, it's a little drone-y at freeway speeds, but otherwise a great sounding muffler. If you're looking for something a little more mellow than that, then Magnaflow is hard to beat.

I'm a MagnaFlow guy... I really dig their sound, it has a tone that I like better than the FM. And, they are usually a little cheaper, which never hurts.

It's just kind of hard to tell In the videos what it sounds like but I think I might go for the magnaflow! But it seems like its a little rice burner sounding from the videos I've looked up

I had a set on my old 88 pickup with a 318, and they were... Manly. Granted, I had no cats, duals, and headers...

I have a borla on mine. Can't recall what kind but its very deep. It will set of car alarms if I rev up. It is a little loud at highway speed but I love it. Borla always sounds better that Flomaster. Just a few more pennies in the pot.

I like my Kolak exhaust note with the 4.0 . I believe it's the 50 series and Magnaflow cat.

Borla is a little expensive, ill give you that. I haven't heard a better sound out of a straight six though. My wife's old is300 ran borla, that thing would make a priest say GD. Sexiest sound around.
