Heated seat problems

Now that we are getting into spring (well we already are),my heated seats aren't exactly working. On the driver side the heated seat doest work at all (no lights on switch *need to confirm that), on the passenger side, it only works on low. I had the truck into Jeep about 4 months ago and they said they didn't want to mess with it. Is this a quick fuse change or switch replacement?

Driver side is heating element
Passenger switch.

Now before you run out and buy parts you need to confirm these using a multi meter. As I'm working on probability

Using a digital ohmmeter, check the resistance across the four way heated seat feed connector under the seat. The resistance between terminals “A” and “B” should be 0.90 ohms to 1.90 ohms. If the resistance value falls outside of this range, perform the Repair Procedure. From wjjeeps

Before spending any $$, you may also want to check to see if you're covered by the heated seat element recalls - I believe there are two with one superseding the other. Mine were working fine but they replaced them on my 2004 anyway via recall just a couple months ago. Check the Jeep site under "Owners" for recalls affecting your particular rig.

I'm just going to tag along to this thread and see what ideas are thrown out there. My heated seat issue lies with the driver seat only - it just keeps on heating hotter and hotter.. to the point of too hot. And that's with the setting on low.

I checked for recalls, but doesn't seem like '00s are covered..
