Halo Projector Fog Lights?

So I have the Laredo model which doesnt come with fog lights. I stumbled upon a set with bulbs and wiring on Ebay for around $70. It comes with the option of halo or fog light so duel switch is included.

My question is where would I install the switch?

Also I have the base model grill with the plastic bars covering the fog light holes. I guess I would just cut them off?

You would have to go through your firewall and mount it somewhere in your reach.

What you can do instead is do them so they work like stock ones do. Search as there's a few threads on doing them. It's pretty easy.

Well I would need a stock switch and I searched for them. They want about $50 for the switch. Plus the lights I found have 2 modes so the fog light switch wouldnt work unless I picked a single mode pair and none of the single modes look good aside from stock but they arent very bright.

On a side note the power seat switches are missing in my Jeep so I might just use the hole and put the switch in that.

I have some heated seat switches that I modified for normal switch use. For sale if anyone's interested. They would include the pigtails. They still light up and I believe there's a write up (somewhere) for changing the little seat picture to whatever you want.

No really. You could wire it to be like OEM stock fogs, and hide a special switch that isn't too conspicuous that could toggle between the two modes. Then it looks like factory installed fogs, but still gives it full functionality.
Just depends what you want it to look like as an end result.
