both the WJ and the ZJ long arm kits from RC need to have the tranny crossmember notched. I'm not really sure why....

Well got it pretty much done last night back went smooth no problems. I've got a little drive shaft vibration I think coming from the front. It look like I need to lengthen top arms a little. Rides great going to try to get some miles in it this weekend and go back over everything.

Looks good!!! Is that last pic the notch on the cross member you were talking about? The vibe is hopefully just a pinion/caster angle issue. Get an alignment done and see where theyre at.

Let us know what you think after you get a few miles on her!

Yes. They control caster and pinion angles.

i know the problem with the ZJ was that when they built their original prototype kit they did not have access to a V8 to test fit the kit on. so the production kit was produced without the notch that the v8's needed.

Problem the same deal on the WJ. because its not the mounts that are different it is the length of everything combined that causes even the slightest issues, such as the needed notching.

Back on topic though, if this kit turns out to be halfway decent ill have one sitting on my doorstep. especially if this death wobble doesn't go away!
