I got the IRO SS kit; it mounts to the trackbar bolt and the draglink, and is way up out of the way.

After an unsuccessful morning of turkey hunting I decided to start on the suspension install Sunday afternoon even though I a still waiting on the last of the parts to arrive from Caytons. Kolak is to check this morning to find out where the heck they are (3 weeks)!

Installed the new RC X-member, (well designed and well made) it went perfectly but Wasn't able to finish as my 1.25" hole saw sheared its teeth before I could finish the first hole. A triop to hardware store at lunch time today to get a new one.

I didn't find any instructions on assembling the flex joints either with the kit or on RC website. I assembled them but don't know what the need for preload on the adjusting ring.

Leave for Mexico on Wednesday AM so wont tackle the rest for a week (or until springs arrive).

I did a Google search and found it; not showing up on the RC website but it is there
The install instructions specify lithium grease; other types can cause the urethane to break down.

www.roughcountry.com/install/RCJ120.pdf

I had an annoying clunk from the right front and found one of the large jam nuts had come loose on a rod end.
Other than that it rides great and makes no more noise than the stock suspension did.

Kind of off topic but I'm wondering why everyone hates Rocky-Road Outfitters?

Long track record of poor customer service.

I think everyone is in the same boat, including myself. Many shops like Claytons were at Easter Jeep Safari a couple weeks ago and I'm guessing they are just playing catch up still.

Had a chance to try the disconnects.. flexs' very well..

But

Will require some trimming of the bumper for full articulation

This is a 265-75, and I had around 1.5 inches more to the bump stops
And it isn't full lock either
Rear side is good to go

Rear sway bar works perfect and doesn't limit the flex.
Ride off road with the front bar disco'd is surprisingly plush.

Approach and departure angles are excellent as well

tsneath,

How do you like your Treadwrights? I run them (BFG carcasses) on my Dually with Kedge Grip and they are holding up remarkably well...

Where is the front push bar and D-ring eyes from?

I installed everything on the Dub so far...

D-rings are Fawkes relocation mounts, modified to raise the bull bar up
The bull bar was a used part, similar ones are on Ebay

I know... I asked "tsneath".

Cool - I'll have to do a little eBay searching. I'd like something besides the regular bumper but everything else is HUGE and/or quite expensive. If any one knows of a NON-winch bumper that is reasonable let me know.

My Clayton 4.5" finally showed via UPS today! So all parts are accounted for suspension install except a set of 3/4" spring spacers to put up front to accommodate the winch and bumper. My local 4 x4 shop said they did not list any for the GC. Where have you guys purchased your spacers?

Protofab says the freight company lost my winch bumper so they will have send another one. Grrr!!!!!!

Ok, the bumper showed up 6 weeks after ordering it. It looks pretty good I will wait to comment on the fit, finish and design until after I fave test fitted it before painting.
