good flex?

just rigged up my own rti ramp with wood and a stump

i got it to flex all the way until there was an inch between the bump stop and axle

tell me what you think and yes front SB is disconnected
and i am NOT running the x series lift

Are those the special edition nerf bars? I like them painted black vs. the chrome.

yeah i painted them with rust proof rattle can

thanks man i like the way they came out too

i cant complain for only getting them for 75 bucks

Yes. Bump stops keep your tires from eating your fenders and also keep you from trashing your shocks. Bump stops stop the uptravel of your axle before your shocks do.

I believe they also help to stop the flex, before a possible spring dismount/fall out.

Nope, they won't stop a spring from failing out. Limiting straps do that.

thanks guys i had about half an inch until i hit my bump stop and my spring wasn't budging

You can get IRO upper and lower spring retainers if you are worried about dropping a spring. I only have the uppers and dropped a spring at GSW.
