Front "CV" driveshaft problems (newb) '99 GC

My fiancee's jeep has a bad front driveshaft - CV boots on each end - 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee 6cyl.

After much research on this forum I have found a few options to replacing the front CV driveshaft assembly. I need a little guidance as to what should be done.

I am all for doing it right the first time but I'm unsure which option to take. This jeep will never hit the trail and will never get a lift for the rest of it's life.

I have read about Carolina Driveline as well as Iron Rock Offroad, both having replacement driveshafts available. Is there an alternative? or, Is there a junkyard find that will do the trick?

Looking to exhaust all options before I decide. Thanks in advance.

Junkyard is going to be your cheapest option. You should be able to find a CV style shaft for less than $50.

Found a driveshaft at the local junkyard. They are delivering it to my work, hopefully it's in good shape.

Check it out before you pay them.
93 red ZJ 190k 4.0. Spent more money than I should have ...

Isn't red the only color a vehicle should be?
If at first you don't succeed, use more speed.
