Flat Black Paint is done as are new headlights, taillights, fog lights, 3rd brake light. I have new mirrors that I need to install still. Here are some pics. I will post up some rear shots later as the sun is not up enough yet.

Not in person. Pic hides the fact that that old paint was peeling on every edge because the PO resprayed it (single stage macco paint job) without taking anything off of it or even cleaning or prepping the factory paint. In person that blue paint looked horrible.

the explains it then because in the photo it didn't look that bad. are you planning on adding and ove the old school hod rod touches to it to give it a little flair?

Yes. 34 cans of flat black paint. $34 total cost for paint and about 12 hours total prepping, disassembling and painting and reassembling.

What were you thinking? I am open to suggestions. I was thinking of painting my inner grill silver but not sure how it will look.

Agree, but spray paint never comes out even and using a flat color doesn't help hide it.

Actually a lot of what you see will wash off. Some of it is dusting as this paint is super fast drying. I also need to apply a special polymer paste wax I have that works well on flat paint it will not turn white and it will deepen and even out the color. I just need it to dry at least another 4-5 days before I wash and wax it.

Also, you cannot see it but in the first pic when it was blue that hood had 8 rust holes that were bondoed (unbeknownst to me at the time of sale due to hood liner covering the damage and the paint on the hood being a little dirty.) Hood had to be replaced anyway so just paying to have it painted to match the "factory color" would have cost me 5 times as much as I have in the whole paint job I did
