Finally sold it!!!

Sorry guys, loved the Jeep for a little bit, but was to much of a POS to deal with in the end, and wasn't ever worth it to begin with. Sold it for $1900, glad to get rid of it. Went out and bought a real truck that actually runs good......A CHEVY. Thanks for all the help while I had it though, great forum through and through. No disrespect meant to any of you Jeep guys though, but mine was a POS.

Good luck with the Chevy. In my opinion the WJ was the worst Grand Cherokee to date, so I can understand your frustration. Not everything is for everyone.

Can you give us a list of everything you did to it or that failed - just so we can know the difference b/t your POS and ours? If that brings back too many bad memories, good luck with the chevy, if that matches too many of our issues, maybe people will start to buy more reliable vehicles.

motor was replaced at 120,000, then blew at 177,000, replaced radiator twice in 6 months, power steering pump was replaced 3 times, all from dealership, thermostat and housing, trans was rewired, vents never worked properly, but that was blend doors, and there was a horrible whirring sound when driving.

and yes meangreen, the wj is the worst jeep ever, i will never buy another jeep product for as long as I live. No disrespect meant to any of you guys.

Sorry to hear. My 99 WJ Limited has been solid for the first 4000 miles I've owned it, bought with 77K. I've done the usual fixes and the fluid maintenance only. I've got about $500 in repairs so far, runs like a top now. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck with the Chebby. Remember, GM stands for General Maintenance.....don't know how far you'll be getting away from little things that break over time. We'll all keep our tow straps handy when we find you stuck in a ditch that you can't get out of, too.

All kidding aside, sorry your GC was a POS for you. Good luck.
