Fender cutting?

I have an 03 WJ with a 4 inch lift, and rubicon 17 inch wheel take offs with the mud terrain tire, I think they are 32 ish inches? Anyway, they rub a lot in reverse and not a ton going forward, but I haven't taken it off roading yet because im sure a fender will get ripped out. Long story short, where to trim on it for off roading use, but not take it all off?

Lots of fender trim pictures in the GC general section in build threads. I've got some in my build thread too but not sure how far you're wanting to go.

I can get some pics up of the trimming I had to do with my wife's WJ. I didn't need to take any sheetmetal off, but I trimmed away some of the fender liners and a little bit off the bumper cover.

His: '00 WJ 4.7 Limited- Some stuff

Hers: '03 WJ 4.7 Laredo- Some more stuff
