Has anyone tried the thrush turbo on the 4.7? Not to hijack, just throwing it out there

Haha, so do JNCO's. 3" is for the V8 I think, 2.5" for the I6.

I had it on there for a few days before my friend convinced me to just have no muffler. It sounded actually really good. And for like 30 dollars it cant get any better.

Is it broken?

Why are you so set on buying the glass pack when people have recommended straight piping it with no muffler and sounding better? That would be a even cheaper option for you and it would sound better. That's a win/win.

Would straight piping bring up any questions when getting it inspected?

Ummm Yes, a muffler is required to pass. Unless
you are in Fl, I don't think there is even inspections there.

I found a Dynomax super turbo muffler, has anybody ever used this muffler and if so what do you think of it.

personally, i hate glass packs and straight pipes, too loud and obnoxious, but to each their own, only way imo that straight pipes work is if you are pushing 500+ hp

i'm currently looking for a muffler and i'm considering a magnaflow, good sound, affordable and stainless, and with ohio salt in the winter, stainless is a must, had a steel flowmaster on my old F150 and in 2 years it pretty much rotted out

Not always. I straight up asked the guy who was doing my emissions and he said he wouldn't fail me for no muffler.

Is it broken?

The super turbo is pretty popular on the 4.0 with the ZJ guys. I have one on my 95 ZJ and it sounds decent. Just a bit louder than stock, and it definitely breathes better....

Ok I plan on getting the super turbo, does it need to be welded on?
