Engine Ground

Need help on a grounding problem on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 4.7 H.O. engine.
I bought the vehicle with the engine half removed and I had it rebuilt. Now I'm not sure where to attach several of the ground wires. I have two pictures showing the location of where they sit (just hanging). Any help is greatly appreciated.
I also have a braided metal strap the is tied into the fire wall and has two eyelets for grounding purposes. Is there any place in particular I need to ground this strap to?
If anyone can describe where they go of have pictures I would greatly appreciate it.
I'm not sure how to insert pictures but I woulld be happly to forward them to any email address.

Thanks!!!

Well I'd say this was a special case. Unfortunately I don't have a 4.7 but someone should be able to post a few picture of under the hood. From left/right and front to help him out. It's a bit different when you pull it yourself and familiar with the layout. I am sure you'll get a response soon. I just thought I'd post for help.

They go on the posts the rear coil on each side of the engine they mount on. If you don't connect them all hell will break loose. I know this for sure. I left them off accidently and had trouble till I found them. So last coil on each sides mounting post.

Engine ground

There are actually three wires. One looks like it attaches to the valve cover to hold it in place but has the bend which continues under the motor,

The other two hang to the passenger side of the engine. One is shorter then the other.

This particular engine is defferent then my straight six. Each plug has their own coil so ground out two of eight doesn't make much sense.

I do have pictures but I can't load them on this page. I'm open for suggestions.

Thanks again...

The one pictured in your hand should go to a bolt just left of the battery and fuse box, which bolts to the metal body of jeep.
