Electric Gremlins?

My buddy has a 2004 wj and he cant lock his drivers side door or roll down that window. He also can't turn off his interior lights without dimming his gauge cluster all the way down. Is this a common problem for the wj? Are there any write ups on how to fix this?

Wj yep......

open driver door
u should see rubber "snorkel" between jeep body and door
pull snorkel back/off and u should see a bunch of wires
its usually the black/ground one thats broken
ur gonna have to splice 'em back together......be careful not to "zap" urself, so i recommend disconnecting the battery

do a quick search too, since thats how i found out how to fix the problem

good luck

Did this to me the other day! It was a broken wire in that rubber covering. Stripped it and put a butt connector on it. fixed
