Sounds like crap. When I had my cat stolen, I had open exhaust on my car for about 2 weeks. Like a jackhammer. It sounded awful. And this is coming from someone whose other car has straight pipes.

Besides, WJs aren't fast. Electric cutouts would just make you obnoxiously loud and still slow.

I don't. I spend long hrs in the jeep goin from home to wheelin trips then hrs on the trail and the last thing I need is loud. I wanna be able to hear rock contact,my cb, my spotter, and hold a conversation in the rig with the windows down. Not saying my way is right for everyone btw

I don't disagree with you, but you're missing the whole point of electric cutouts. This would be for ALLLLL those times when trucks pull up next to the OP and start revving their engines at his WJ.

Also, cutouts are never as loud as it is when you unhook from the header/down pipe since some of the exhaust still goes through the actual exhaust. Just a thought. My videos are louder than what cutouts would be.

The idea of cutouts are perfect for me. But will they sound good on the 4.0 is my question.

It will sound like you have a hole in your exhaust because basically you WILL have a hole in your exhaust!

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got yourself an electrical problem!

I guess I don't understand the point of having such a thing just in the rare case that someone revs their engine at a light, you can do it back, and loudly? Guys, we are driving WJs... Let's keep it real!

I'm just giving my personal opinion here, not trying to bash. Hell, I have Kolak's exhaust on my 4.0 and I love it, but it's set up to not be obnoxious. Loud does not equate good.
