Electric Cutouts....?

So I really like the idea of electric cutouts. i can keep my WJ quite while im just cruisin but when someone comes up to me and starts revving their truck or whatever i can show em what mine can do. Ive seen ZJs with the v8 and they sound great. But does any one have any idea what the 4.0s would sound like? Is it worth it? Any thoughts or ideas?

Probably sound like crap and I wouldn't be surprised if the lack of back pressure would cause a check engine light to come on or something. (Not really sure if it would, I just figured since every other stupid little thing does)

And I say this because I had an Oldsmobile with a 3.8 and knocked the exhaust manifold off. I thought it sounded kind of cool till I dropped 10K into a 383 build and realized it didn't sound bad ***, it just sounded like I knocked the exhaust manifold off. Lol

I've never looked at our set up... But I assume you can just go under the jeep and unbolt the exhaust from the manifold to get an idea of what it will sound like. Cut outs would be right near there, and we only have 1 pipe, so you'd only need 1 cut out.

That's my other car, but you can see the bolt holes at the end of the header. Just unbolt and move to the side. An electric cut out wouldn't be far from there.

I haven't either. Ill have to look. So its basically straight pippin? I guess that makes sense!! Haha What if I hooked it up after the cat though? Would that still bring the check engine light on?

I'm sure one of these jeep guru's will know for sure, but I'd think you would be good. If you want to scare people, just buy a nitrous kit and hook a 15 lb bottle and run it to the front but don't hook it to the motor. Purge it a few times at the light and then they will start wondering wtf is in that thing. Lol.

Might look like cheap crap. What's your experience with it?

2 years after installation on the Raceland unit with no issues. (Not on the WJ though...)
Here's vid. I think on the 4.0

Here's what I put it on:
