I am new, however my dealing with Nick has been clear and strait forward. Which is probaly why i will get it from him. Now that i found out that i am not deploying again this fall. Well for now unless the change there mind again. Just so long as i keep the wife happy. As i am planning on helping her brother lift his WJ.

I have the doug thorley headers and they are very worth it! I dont know the added HP or torque. But they add some balls in the higher rpm range, with a deep throaty sound.

That was a 4.7 with 3.73s and 265/75/16 MTs. It was something like 173hp and 245lb/ft of torque at the rear wheels (that guy had his front DS removed)

A stock 4.7 should be roughly 190hp and ~250lb/ft at the wheels.

I'll go find his post and confirm these #s.

Edit:
No front driveshaft,
best run of the day was 171.6 horsepower and 240.69 lb/ft of torque and max speed of 118.
3.73 gears

Haha wow this got confusing. No, no one makes headers for the V8 Wj. There are headers available for the 4.7, but only in dakotas and durangos. There is simply no room for an aftermarket header on the 4.7 in the WJ.

Now, in my first post, I thought the guy was asking what kind of power the stock 4.0 put to the wheels so I gave him that info. He then thought that the guy who posted up dyno #s for his 4.7 with MTs was posting #s for the 4.0, so I corrected him.

There are no headers for V8 WJs.

You can't do pictures until you have 50 posts. Easiest way is to upload them to photobucket, then post a link. One of us can make them no clicky for you.
