I'm at work right now and cannot view your pics. But what exhaust did you go with? Also do you have a soundclip?

WJ's: Doug Thorley Header, part no. HDX-634Y-C

I promised a part number to the Mike Leach designed Doug Thorley header for the WJ's: the full number is HDX-634Y-C
Search the internet, however, using "634Y-C" or "634YC"

Yeah, the pics were all taken with a 6 megapixel digital for high resolution. Sorry about that. For many, the high detail of something so expensive is of uber importance.

WJ's come stock with a mixture of 2.25in - 2.5in piping. I went with 2.5in piping all the way, a Flowmaster 70 Series muffler, Magnaflow catalyctic converter, Kolak's custom bent tailpipe, and a magnaflow stainless steel tip out the back. I don't have a sound clip because there are so many available on YouTube already for reference. I have a 4.0L. Available options of Flowmaster that I'm aware of are the Super 44, 40 Series, 50 Series, 70 Series, and 90 Series. Which is best? It's personal taste there. With the 70 Series I get a little noise inside the cabin at shift points and acceleration, and have received all nice comments since I put it on. I was unsure what my wife would think, but she says she likes it. The 90 Series is the quietest they offer, but I haven't found any sound clips of it yet.

Alright, thanks. If I could have found a sound clip of it somewhere I may have still bought that one instead, but this 70 Series I'm running has a nice tone to it so I don't have much room to complain.

Man, you really need to check out Picshrink. I'm in the market for a header(s)/Manifold(s), but I'm not waiting all evening to look at the pictures.

I hear your pain and do need to downsize. What's acceptable sizing...4Mb, 3Mb? I'd hate to drop to 2 and lose so much quality.

bump. 1st post now includes links to either hi-rez photos for fast downloads, or smaller file sizes for slower connections.

PicShrink is the way to go, but it not free. Say you have a couple hundred photos, each 8MB, that you want to share online, or put into a slideshow CD/DVD or whatever use, you just open the folder in PicShrink and then turn the dial to whatever filesize you need and it will show you a preview of what each picture will look like at that compression level.

Photobucket will work too. It's just not as fast and you need to store them online to do it. I think you should at least open a photobucket account. However, you need to keep in mind that if your photos start to see a lot of traffic, they will be locked and unviewable for the remainder of that month. That is unless you pay for advanced features. I'm sure you will get quite a bit more interest in these headers if you at least posted some photobucket compressed pictures. I know I'd like to see them.

Otherwise, I'm likely going to pick up one of these:
Gale Banks Engineering 51306 - Banks TorqueTube Exhaust Manifold Assembly for 00-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ, Unlimited & 99-01 Grand Cherokee WJ & 00-01 Cherokee XJ with 4.0L I-6 Gasoline Engi - Quadratec

How about 150k

EDIT: As long as the original picture was in focus, you will be able to compress those down to 100k-150k easily.

So did the Thorley come with a head pipe? Who did the install for you?

Maybe we can arrange a time to meet up this weekend.... I'd really like to see these in person before placing an order with Nick. PM me your # and we'll set it up!
