doing heater core replace this week

I've already got the heater core coming thru rock auto and was wondering if that was all i have to get to get that job done. and if i should replace anything else while im in there

I'd go ahead and replace the blend doors if you have the dual climate zone, and maybe the actuators if you're feeling up to it. I did the heater core and blend doors are strictly preventative on mine. Some people switch to a single blend door because of the tendency of them to fail. And if you wanted to go all out you could replace the evap core too.

Since i don't have duel climate control then i don't have to mess with blend door?

I mean, you could, but it depends on what you want to do. You could get a really well built metal one and never have to worry about it again. Your call my man.
