delayed start

Hey all. Now that its freezing cold (I don't know if that is the cause or just coincidence) my 2002 wj with the 4.7 is acting a bit weird. When I go to start it I turn the key and there is a slight delay before it tries to crank. Once it starts to crank it fires up quickly it just takes a second before it tries to crank. Ideas? Not overly experienced on the electrical side of things.

Mine is doing the same thing. Stopped at Advance and tested the battery which is at 672 CCA so that is fine there. I'm thinking maybe the ignition switch could be getting bad but I'm not quite sure.

Just noticed earlier if I wiggle the key in the ignition before turning it, it fires right up. So mine might be a bad ignition or something along those lines.
